The BrandHook Podcast

Over the last few years there has been a behavioural trend that is hard to ignore. We all know that the digital revolution has completely transformed the way consumers are interacting with brands and there is no doubt that their access to information has changed the way consumers see value.

CMO Magazine and BrandHook are launching today an 11 part podcast series called Closing the Gap which brings to life the issues that most marketers are now facing – the gap between how consumers are behaving and what business is delivering.

Over the next 11 weeks we will chat to CMOs and Thought Leaders from Australia and the UK such as Stephen Loftus from Brompton Bikes, Genevieve Elliot from Federation Centres, Andrew Baxter from Publicis, Carolyn Bendall from ANZ, John Broome from Kelloggs , Sandra Arango from Heinz and Dan Gregory from The Impossible Institute and many more.

We will spend the first few sessions outlining the changes in consumer behaviour and last 7 highlighting the ways that marketers can use to close that gap.

EPISODE ONE: MARK CAMERON

Today Pip Stocks the CEO of BrandHook Australia kicks off the series with Mark Cameron. Mark is the CEO of customer experience innovation consultancy W3 Digital. He writes about digital strategy and customer experience in columns for CMO.com.au, BRW and Marketing Magazine.

Amongst the interview points, Mark and Pip discuss how the digital transformation is now a matter of survival and how it has changed the customer experience map. They also cover off what the skills marketers need to cope in this new world and Mark will tell us which brands he thinks are doing well at reaching out to their customers.

The brand, the communications and advertising Continue reading

But after watching the talk, I realized just how relevant and important storytelling actually is to my work and everyday life. It is Continue reading
