Happy Fathers Day

August 31, 2013

Happy Fathers Day

This weekend, we drafted in our first ever ‘celebrity’ BrandHook blogger – known professionally as Dr David Dixon but to the BrandHook office as Dicko – Paul’s father.  We asked him, as a Father, to send a Father’s Day message to our readers so please enjoy below.

Father’s Day presents opportunities for families to get together, usually starting early with the youngsters excitedly handing over their carefully crafted handmade gifts from pre-school and early school years and then moving on to include grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.  A family routine, a ritual we’ve created and adapted over the years.  So lots of people, lots of kids, an amount of travelling, eating, drinking and talking and a reminder about the essential value of families to the fabric of our society.

From a parental point of view it is a chance to reflect and simply enjoy what you have helped to create and to watch the relationships  between family members that develop and renew and never cease to entertain.  Just a fun day.

So a Happy Father’s Day to all the other Father’s that in my opinion, are lucky enough to be part of the BrandHook Bloggers and Get Hooked’s distribution list, whether a client or soon to be client.

Cheers Dicko
